The American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE) Board of Directors approved the creation of an “Occupational Safety and Health Professional Day”


The Construction Safety Management & Engineering book, published by ASSE, has sold over 1500 copies. Royalties from book sales are donated to provide an annual student scholarship for those interested in construction safety. The 1st scholarship will be awarded and presented at the 2006 ASSE PDC in Seattle.
